SCENE_01
Seen at 9:14, stomach at 9:15
Your phone lights up with a string of names you know, a dinner plan already moving without you. You catch the preview, then the thread disappears under another notification. The thought lands fast: If I'm not in the chat, I'm out of the group. Not just uninformed — unplaced.
SCENE_02
The part where the chat becomes the verdict
That reading turns a normal gap into a private hearing. You scroll back through old messages, checking where you stopped being included, what you missed, whether your last reply sounded off. You'd rather hover in the thread all night than risk being the person everyone forgot to add.
SCENE_03
A group can be larger than the thread
A chat is one place where plans get traded, not the full measure of who is wanted. Two people talking in a separate thread can be just two people talking. You do not have to solve the whole social map from one notification. If the unease sticks, make a note of the specific plan and leave the rest alone for now.
